Inaugural Meeting of Baltimore City Group

The LMA Capital Chapter is pleased to announce the formation of the Baltimore City Group.  The Baltimore City Group will provide resources, programming, and networking opportunities for LMA Capital Chapter members who live and work in the Baltimore metropolitan area. We recognize that the distance of our existing Chapter programs from Baltimore can make it difficult or impossible for our members to attend them, and we are pleased to offer support from the members and Board of Directors of the Capital Chapter to make this City Group successful.

The inaugural meeting of the Baltimore City Group will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be hosted by the newly appointed Baltimore City Group Leader, Denise Dewling, at the offices of Tydings & Rosenberg LLP.  The inaugural meeting is open to LMA members and non-members, refreshments will be served, and there is no fee to attend.

In addition to networking and socializing, the event will focus on City Group best practices. For that discussion, please join Denise, LMA Capital Chapter President Kimberly Bell, Capital Chapter President-Elect Chris Hummel, and Erin Meszaros, the City Group Liaison to the LMA International Board of Directors and a former President of the LMA Southeastern Chapter. All members are encouraged to come and share your thoughts and become an integral part in developing the first year’s events and establishing a foundation for ongoing success.
