As 2025 comes to an end, I’ve found myself reflecting on what truly makes the LMA Midwest Region so special — and it always comes back to one thing: our people.
This region thrives because of the generosity, creativity, and energy of our members and volunteers. You’re the ones who raise your hands, show up, share ideas, and make things happen — often on top of already full plates. Whether you planned a program, led a committee, mentored a peer, or simply showed up to connect, you’ve made an impact.
That spirit was on full display at the 2025 LMA Midwest Regional Conference in Chicago. The theme — Activate Your Potential: Connect. Collaborate. Create. — was more than a tagline; it was a reflection of what we do best. From the dynamic keynotes to the thoughtful breakout sessions to the buzz in every hallway conversation, the conference showcased the power of this community when we come together to learn and grow. Thank you to every volunteer, speaker, sponsor, and attendee who helped make it such a success.
We still have several virtual and in-person events in the pipeline for the end of the year and planning for 2026 is well underway. As we look ahead, our focus remains the same: fostering meaningful connections, supporting professional growth, and continuing to elevate one another.
