Dear LMA Canada Region,
As spring arrives and we reach the midpoint of Q2, I'm excited to share what's been happening across our region and what's ahead as we continue to bring our 2026 theme—Better Together—to life.
CANADA NIGHT IN NEW ORLEANS
If you're heading to LMA26 in New Orleans (April 20-22), I hope you'll join us for Canada Night on Monday, April 20 from 7:30-9pm at the Hyatt Regency Club. This is our chance to connect as a region, celebrate our community, and kick off the conference week together. Keep an eye on your inbox for the official invite.
For those who can't make it to New Orleans, we'll be hosting our annual post-conference webinar in late April to share key highlights, insights, and takeaways from the conference. Watch for registration details soon.
LISTENING TO YOU: THE POWER OF DATA
One of our strategic priorities this year is to make more data-driven decisions that truly serve our members. We've launched a programming survey in February, currently live, to better understand what topics, formats, and timing resonate most with you. Your input is directly shaping the educational content we'll be delivering throughout the year. If you haven't yet taken a few minutes to share your thoughts, please do here. This is how we ensure programming hits the mark.
FALL CONFERENCE: SAVE THE DATE
I'm thrilled to announce that planning is officially underway for the 2026 LMA Canada Regional Conference. Mark your calendars for late October or early November in Toronto.
This year's conference will reflect our Better Together theme, bringing Canadian legal marketing and business development professionals together for a full day of learning, connection, and celebration. We're focused on creating diverse, engaging programming and showcasing Canadian thought leadership. More details to follow soon.
As always, I'm here to listen. If you have ideas, questions, or simply want to connect, please don't hesitate to reach out. While I won't be in New Orleans this year, I'm wishing all our members a fantastic conference, and I'm looking forward to joining you at the post-conference webinar in late April to hear all about it.
Warmly,
Katie Stowe
President, LMA Canada Region
