Why Join?
The LMA - Bay Area Chapter has been recognized for excellent monthly programming. Think of our local chapter programming as your Master's in Legal Marketing Education and the National Conference as your Ph.D. Of course, we have several benefits that only members receive, such as the membership directory, Silicon Valley and after-hours events, and chapter newsletter. Also, the networking cannot be beat, with an average of 65 professional at each meeting, ranging from in-house marketing directors and managers to consultants in the legal industry.
How to Join
When you join the Legal Marketing Association, an international organization with regional chapters throughout the United States and beyond, you automatically become a member of your local chapter (such as the LMA – Bay Area Chapter). So, to become a member of the LMA – Bay Area Chapter, simply sign up for membership through the LMA national Web site at www.legalmarketing.org.
Membership Dues
Membership dues vary from $185 to $545, depending on the membership category, and include free access to monthly local educational programs. Memberships are renewed on an annual, calendar year basis. Local branches of the national organization give you the chance to meet LMA members in your area, exchange ideas and build your professional networks. LMA welcomed its first chapter (Chicago) in 1989 and the LMA - Bay Area Chapter was founded in 1991. Since then, LMA members have formed 18 regional or city chapters.
