How to Moderate a Panel: Demystifying the Experience

February 13, 2019

12:00 - 12:30 pm - Registration and Networking
12:30 - 1:30 pm - Program

Nat Slavin
Partner, Wicker Park Group

Moderating a panel takes very specific skills. Marketing professionals and lawyers are often asked to moderate panels both in their firms and at industry events. Without proper preparation and training, a panel moderator can leave a negative impression with the audience; an impression that may have lasting impact. This program will reveal the keys to success, how to prepare, what makes a panel interesting and how to generate valuable take-aways in the moment. While tailored for our legal marketing community, this is a great program for LMA members to bring along attorneys from their firms who are regularly asked to moderate and facilitate panels both at the firm and at industry events.
