The Your Honor Awards program recognizes law firms and individuals who positively impact the legal marketing profession in the Southwest and West regions.

Award Categories: Firms
Law firms located in the Southwest or West regions are invited to submit their remarkable achievements in the following key areas of legal marketing. Ideal submissions demonstrate impact, ROI, or other measurements of success.
- Business Development Campaign: This award recognizes firms that have designed and implemented innovative and effective business development campaigns, showcasing measurable impact and strategic excellence. Eligible initiatives may include, but are not limited to: internal or external events; coaching and training; competitive intelligence efforts; RFP (Request for Proposal) processes; client feedback programs; enhancements to the client experience; and development of proposals and pitch materials.
- Marketing & Communications Campaign: This award recognizes firms that have created exceptional marketing and communications campaigns, showcasing creativity, effectiveness, and significant contributions to their firm's brand and outreach efforts. Eligible campaigns may include, but are not limited to: media relations and public relations (PR); advertising and promotional activities; interactive and digital marketing efforts, such as social media and website content; and graphic design and branding projects.
- Marketing Technology Campaign: This award recognizes firms that have effectively leveraged marketing technology to enhance their campaigns, drive engagement, and achieve outstanding results through innovative technological solutions. Eligible initiatives may include, but are not limited to: website design and management; utilization of artificial intelligence (AI); adoption and integration of social media tools; implementation of analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies; deployment of communications software and platforms; and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Award Categories: Individuals
LMA members are invited to nominate their peers, located specifically in the LMA Southwest or West regions only, for one of the following individual award categories:
Rising Star Award
This award honors talented professionals with fewer than seven (7) years of experience who are making notable contributions to our profession, the Legal Marketing Association, and the greater community. These individuals are recognized for their exceptional promise and potential for future leadership. Past recipients of the Rising Star Award may not be recognized with this award again.
Senior Leader of the Year Award
This award celebrates a Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Business Development Officer, or the most senior leader of a firm who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact within their firms and the legal marketing profession. Nominees should exhibit a track record of strategic vision, exemplary team management, and a commitment to advancing the profession and the association. Consider the following criteria when preparing your submission:
- Leadership Excellence: Highlight the nominee's ability to inspire and lead marketing teams effectively.
- Innovative Strategies: Showcase examples of groundbreaking marketing initiatives that have driven success.
- Professional Impact: Describe the nominee's contributions to the legal marketing profession and their influence within their firm and community.
- Association Involvement: Detail the nominee's active participation and leadership within the LMA community.
Entry Rules:
- Nominees of the individual award categories must be based in the LMA Southwest or West regions.
- Nominees of the individual award categories cannot be current LMA Board members at the international or regional level.
- Any work produced to promote or market the services of a law firm between January 2025 and July 2026 is eligible to enter.
- Self-nominations are allowed, provided that a letter of recommendation is included.
- Someone from the firm must attend the conference to receive the award on Wednesday, October 14 – Friday, October 16, 2026; Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, Phoenix, AZ.
