FIRM SUBMISSION CATEGORIES
Business Development & Client Experience Campaign: This award celebrates firms that have designed and implemented innovative business development campaigns with demonstrable impact and strategic sophistication. Eligible initiatives may encompass a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Hosting internal or external events
- Offering coaching and training programs
- Applying competitive intelligence
- Streamlining RFP (Request for Proposal) processes
- Establishing client feedback mechanisms
- Enhancing the overall client experience
- Providing value-added services
- Building strong client teams or partnerships
- Developing compelling proposals and pitch materials
This award recognizes the ingenuity and strategic prowess in advancing business development and client engagement efforts.
Marketing & Communications Campaign: This award celebrates firms that have crafted exceptional marketing and communications campaigns, showcasing innovation, effectiveness, and significant contributions to enhancing brand presence and outreach efforts. Eligible campaigns may include a wide range of activities, such as:
- Media relations and public relations (PR) initiatives
- Advertising and promotional strategies
- Interactive and digital marketing efforts, including social media engagement and website content development
- Graphic design and branding projects
This award honors creativity and strategic excellence in elevating a firm's brand and expanding its reach.
Marketing Technology Campaign: This award honors companies that have skillfully utilized marketing technology to elevate their campaigns, boost engagement, and achieve remarkable outcomes through inventive technological approaches. Eligible projects can encompass a range of areas, including but not limited to:
- Creation and management of websites
- Application of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Integration and use of social media technologies
- Execution of analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
- Implementation of communication software and platforms
- Deployment of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions

INDIVIDUAL-BASED AWARD CATEGORIES
LMA Mid-Atlantic members are encouraged to submit nominations for deserving peers who have distinguished themselves through service in our region and embody the values and standards of the LMA community in the following individual-based award categories:
- Mid-Atlantic Member of the Year Award: This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to the Mid-Atlantic region and its members. The recipient shows a strong commitment to the legal community through impactful advocacy, innovative initiatives, and a consistent drive to elevate professional standards. Their contributions reflect a deep sense of purpose and inspire others to engage meaningfully in shaping the future of the legal marketing profession.

Entry Rules
- Nominees of the individual award categories must be based in the LMA Mid-Atlantic region.
- Nominees of the individual award categories cannot be current LMA Board members at the international or regional level.
- Self-nominations are allowed, providing that a letter of recommendation is included.
- Any work produced to promote or market the services of a law firm between January 2024 and August 2025 is eligible to enter.
- Someone from the firm must attend the Mid-Atlantic regional conference to receive the award on Tuesday, October 14, in Washington, DC.
