Presenters:

Adam Brown, Director of Marketing, Fafinski Mark &
Johnson. Adam leads FMJ Law’s firm-wide marketing, business development, and professional growth initiatives across all practice areas. Before transitioning into a marketing role, Adam worked as an attorney in both the public and private sectors, where he learned to find legal work and develop business. He is also a long-time adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and he previously worked in UST Law School’s career and professional development office advising law students and alumni.

Susan Slifer, Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial, Fractional CMO. Susan has led marketing and business development initiatives for healthcare, accounting, and law firms for more than 25 years since earning her MBA, with the majority of her career dedicated to law firms ranging from 10 to 1,000+ attorneys. She has launched business development training programs at numerous firms and authored related articles for ALM. A co-chair of the Legal Marketing Association 2023 QuickStart pre-conference, Susan also taught Strategy and Organizational Behavior at Georgia State University
