Business Development Through the Lawyer’s Lens: Practical Strategies for Legal Marketers
Friday, February 20 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. CT
Join us for a lunch & learn on Friday, February 20, aimed to equip legal marketers with a clearer understanding of lawyer behavior and practical tools to strengthen business development impact.
We will hear from Michael Colacchio, a seasoned leadership and business development coach whose background spans journalism, high-level branding, and market research. Drawing on his deep experience in what he calls the "confessional of the coaching conversation," Colacchio will share some of the raw truths lawyers admit in private and translate them into practical growth strategies for legal marketing professionals. This session moves past vague inspiration to offer a deeply-informed and sometimes humorous look at the anxieties underlying attorney behavior – for example, what they need to be doing with AI right now. The aim is to help legal marketing professionals bridge the gap between meeting the daily demands of their jobs and making valued and strategic contributions to the firm’s growth and well-being.
The talk will navigate three critical acts: deepening the lawyers’ trust in you; prioritizing assignments without getting in trouble; getting due credit for your contributions to firm growth. It will also include an opportunity to get your questions answered about specific challenges you’re facing and ways to be more effective. Hope you can join us on February 20th for what promises to be a fun and enlightening conversation.
We will share a link to join via Teams for those who cannot join in person.
