LMA Mid-Atlantic Region Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsoring the Mid-Atlantic Region connects valued service providers with in-house marketing professionals in the nation’s capital, Maryland and the Virginias. We have a broad range of sponsorship opportunities, from comprehensive regional packages giving exposure to the entire region to local partnerships. This variety reflects the diversity of our membership, local groups and service providers. About the Legal Marketing Association (LMA)

The Legal Marketing Association is a community of business development, communications, technology and marketing professionals who serve the legal industry. Members work at law firms of all sizes as well as service partners. LMA hosts educational programs, conferences and social networking events, creates and curates content, and holds a unique trust with its members. Our programs are supported by membership dues and corporate sponsorships. These sponsorships provide companies visibility and connections within our community.

About the LMA Mid-Atlantic Region 

LMA Mid-Atlantic is among the largest LMA regions, with more than 400 members. The membership is highly-engaged and includes decision-makers at the nation’s leading firms. The Region hosts an annual conference in late Fall each year, bringing together over 230 legal marketing, business development and communications professionals.

Spread throughout Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland, members are served by three local groups (in Capital, Virginias and Baltimore). Members enjoy regular, in-person educational programming and networking events, including popular Summer and Holiday socials.

Sponsorship is built around the following key activities:

Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference

This conference is the largest single regional event, held annually in the Fall in the Mid-Atlantic region. Last year’s full-day conference in Washington, DC had 20+ sessions and over 230 attendees; it is the centerpiece of our regional sponsorship offering. In 2018 attendees were comprised of:

  • 152 Members
  • 83 Non-Members
  • 41% Senior Marketers / Decision-Makers
  • 36% Mid-Level Marketers

In 2018, 19 companies sponsored the regional conference.

Local programs

Each Local contingent hosts monthly programs with experienced panelists sharing their thought leadership on topics ranging from Personal Impact and Diversity & Inclusion to marketing technology and crisis communication. Service providers are invited to sponsor local programs in DC, Baltimore or Richmond, either individually or as part of regional packages.

Local social events

Each Local contingent also welcomes members to Summer and Holiday social parties, bringing our legal marketing community together to network and build connections. We welcome service providers to sponsor social events in DC, Baltimore or Richmond, either individually or as part of regional packages.

Member communications

In addition to the in-person events, the Mid-Atlantic region keeps in touch with its membership via a series of regular communications, including a quarterly newsletter, bimonthly event emails and regular social media posts (via Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter). We are happy to work with service providers who wish to share thought leadership or develop their brand via our communications channels.
