LMA-LA brings together some of the most influential speakers inside and outside of law firm marketing today. Participants in LMA-LA will benefit from our high-quality monthly programs. Flannery, Ann Lee Gibson, Steven Barrett, various national and local editors and reporters, and other well respected executives. NETWORKING: IT IS WHO YOU KNOW
LMA-LA brings a diverse and sprawling legal community together under one organization for you to meet and get to know. Additionally, the organization is actively developing relationships with other key associations such as ALA and the Bar Associations so that members may benefit from having an opportunity to meet these law firm marketing influencers.
Each function -- from the monthly educational programming to the social events -- offers members the opportunity to broaden their circle of influence and network of peers. This is the single best method for staying connected with what is happening in this industry and beyond.
RESOURCES: PUTTING INFORMATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
As a member, you will have access to the membership directory -- in print and online. Many LMA-LA members have self-identified areas of particular marketing expertise on which they are comfortable advising other members. The LMA-LA chapter has collected that information in a knowledge database for access by members only.
Additionally, the chapter and in particular the Communications Committee, works hard to maintain a current and useful web site with a focus on the LA marketplace.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: REAL WORLD CAREER ENHANCEMENT
The benefit you derive from your LMA-LA membership is up to you. The higher the level of your participation is, the greater your reward will be. For example, senior marketers derive enhanced member benefit at the board level, which is also the gateway to building national relationships. Junior marketers may find that participation on any one of our committees provides a productive learning experience and exposure to different marketing approaches.
