As Manager of Client Value and Innovation at Ballard Spahr, Emilia is focused on enhancing and maintaining client relationships by bridging the gap between the practice of law and the business of law.
Emilia collaborates with partners and their clients to understand and assess business goals and needs. Her goal is to identify, develop, evaluate, and coordinate client-facing value-added services. She is responsible for developing and reviewing matter management and portfolio plans, managing scope throughout the client relationship, proactively addressing concerns, and advising and implementing process and technology solutions that will deliver additional value.
Emilia is part of the Client Value and Innovation team that developed Ballard360 – an award-winning custom suite of cloud-based technology that promotes client collaboration, provides greater transparency, and delivers cost-effectiveness that has saved the firm’s clients millions of dollars in legal fees since its launch in 2018. Ballard360 has been recognized by The American Lawyer, BTI Consulting, and The Financial Times.
Emilia has experience in finance, business operations, and technology. Prior to joining the Client Value and Innovation Team, Emilia worked in the Marketing and Business Development department with a focus on marketing operations.
