Pain in My App: Effective Technology Use for Improved Responsiveness & Productivity

Track: All About the Data

Session Number: 204801
Date: Tue, Oct 22nd, 2019
Time: 9:50 AM - 10:30 AM

Description:

Clients are understandably placing increased pressure on their law firms to be more responsive. We hear over and over that law firms miss out on new business - or worse, lose existing business - because of an inadequate or tardy response on an important matter. Just as well, the success of internal marketing and business development teams hinge upon being responsive to the needs of lawyers. Several technology solutions exist to help manage projects, teams, time, and tasks. However, the ineffective use of these technologies can often create inefficiencies and frustrations.

In this interactive workshop, attendees will learn about how to improve responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders through improved use of productivity technologies and strategies. Through specific case studies and project walk-throughs, the presenters will explain how to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in project, team, task, and time management. The presentation will explore project management tools that are in the marketplace, but also provide hands-on instruction for improving productivity with existing workflows and technologies, such as Outlook. Whether interested in evaluating new technology tools or improving use of current tools and processes, attendees will come away with a mastery of several industry-leading paradigms for improving productivity, as well as strategies for improving their responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders.

The inefficiency, waste, and under-utilization of assets can be a real pain in your "app" — come prepared to learn how to use technology to be more productive, organized, and responsive!
