Marketing "Me": Expanding Influence and Increasing Effectiveness Within the Firm and Beyond

Gaining influence - within our own firms, in the business community, and with colleagues and clients - is a challenge for legal marketers and business development professionals. In this interactive program, participants will develop strategies they can implement immediately to gain that influence, secure a “seat at the table,” and improve overall satisfaction with work. This program is based on the work of Robert B. Cialdini, author of Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, whose behavioral research has identified the keys to becoming more influential and as a result, more effective in substantive work and business relationships. Through exercises incorporating personal reflection and analysis, participants will leave the session understanding their own level of influence within their respective organizations and how to take greater control of their careers by learning how to build influence and create their own opportunities for career development.
