For law firms of all sizes, their client relationships are their most valuable assets. Unfortunately, many firms do little to institutionalize those relationships so, when client contacts leave/retire or primary lawyers leave/retire, relationships are often vulnerable. In this session, Sally Schmidt will focus on client succession planning. She will discuss the need for client planning and the obstacles firms face, and provide practical tips and ideas for binding clients to the firm for the future.
