Law firm PR and marketing professionals are increasingly faced with crisis scenarios for which few are fully prepared. Client crises are common, whether an environmental disaster, charges of sexual misconduct or employment-related, or simply a client being accused of not delivering on a promised service or product. The webinar will also provide direction for crisis’s that affect the business of law firms - rogue partners, employment law problems, malpractice, etc. All of these are legal problems that can be public relations nightmares.
Presenters Scott Sobel and Joshua Peck are seasoned media and crisis veterans—one a celebrated law firm and law firm client consultant and the other an in-house PR director at a major international law firm—and both have managed crisis scenarios for clients and seen favorable (or at least less problematic) outcomes. Both are former journalists. They will share some of their approaches, ideas, and planning methods, and run some crisis scenarios for participants in this webinar. They will use real-life, ripped-from-the-headlines scenarios as teaching and discussion tools. Attendees will leave the session better equipped to manage their own crises, and to bring ideas for crisis preparation to their own law firms and other clients.
