"You Need the Avengers!"


Tucker Ellis wanted to find a unique way to get the attention of a potential client. Upon learning the general counsel is known in-house as Phoenix (of “X-Men” fame), and that her department refers to themselves as the Justice League, staff decided to suggest that they turn to “the Tucker Ellis Avengers” when threatened with litigation. “The Avengers” was being filmed in Cleveland, where the DWT headquarters office is, that year. Staff thought a movie poster would be an excellent way to introduce Tucker Ellis’ super-powered trial team. Creative Avengers/attorney bios accompanied the poster.

“Hilarious. I have been traveling for the better part of the last five weeks, but when I returned my staff had put the poster up in my office. Also, many lawyers on my staff apparently know the lawyers on the poster and have done double takes as they come into my office. Most original and thoughtful law firm pitch by far. I am in the midst of restructuring my department as well as my panel of outside firms … would be great to meet and talk about your health care and other practices.
