||With the term “knowledge management” being thrown around in businesses of all industries, it is often confusing as to how it can be applied specifically in a meaningful way. Join us to learn how one law firm’s marketing team has applied the goals of a knowledge management system to add efficiency to the things legal marketers do every day, such as pitches, proposals, Chambers submissions, web and bio updates, and more. Specific examples and case studies will be used.
Kevin Guidry is the Practice Manager of Davis Wright Tremaine's Corporate/M&A and Real Estate practice groups. His team helps those groups operate more effectively and efficiently by providing a range of strategic, analytical, operational, and sales services to the practice group leadership and to key "economic engines" in the groups. Kevin is a licensed attorney and worked in marketing and sales in the wine industry before working in legal.
Hallie Terrell is a Senior Practice Management Specialist of Davis Wright Tremaine’s Corporate/M&A practice group. She provides strategic guidance and support for new business proposals and pitches, and leads the knowledge management efforts for more than 115 corporate attorneys, including the collection, storing, and distribution of attorney work experience. She collaborates cross-practice on new business opportunities, amplifying the firm’s expertise in many areas and industries, and manages sponsorships, seminars, and webinars for the Corporate/M&A group.
