||To be an effective legal marketer, we often have to say “no” or “what if we do it this way?” What is the best way to package your message so that you are persuasive yet mindful of your internal client’s perspective?
Join the LMA New York Local Group for an interactive panel designed for legal marketers of all levels that will provide attendees with the tools (or sharpen the ones they already have) to navigate difficult conversations. Following role-playing exercises that address difficult conversations, our panelists will explore recommended communication approaches. Audience discussion will be encouraged throughout the program. The panel will conclude with takeaways that attendees – whether they are an introvert or an extrovert – can incorporate into their daily conversations with a variety of constituencies from partners to peers, and superiors to direct reports. Our panel will cover tricky conversations such as how to effectively “negotiate” in the law firm environment, how to deliver bad news, and how to pitch a new idea.
