Last month, I shared with you our 2020 Vision: Get Stuff Done. Our volunteer leaders have already started on a number of initiatives in this spirit, just a few of which appear below:
Annual Conference Meetups
We are excited to share details on our regional reception at the 2020 LMA Annual Conference at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver: If you’re attending the conference, join your fellow members and friends in the Midwest on Wednesday, March 25 at 7:30-8:30 PM in the Juniper Foyer for snacks and cocktails. Make sure you find an LMA Midwest Board Member to get your “Midwest is Best” badge sticker. (Special thanks to Amie Allison, LMA Midwest Treasurer-Elect, for making the arrangements with the hotel!)
In addition to our regional reception, we are pleased to again be hosting luncheon tables at the Annual Conference on Friday, March 27 at noon. Keep your eyes peeled for the tables labeled LMA Midwest with our “Midwest is Best” image!
Showcase Your Organization to LMA Midwest
Our Sponsorship Committee, chaired by LMA Midwest Treasurer-Elect Amie Allison, has circulated our 2020 Regional Sponsorship Opportunities. Contact Amie for more information or to showcase your organization to the best group of legal marketers in the Midwest by sponsoring our region.
LMA Midwest Member Survey - Coming Soon!
John Byrne, LMA Midwest Immediate Past President, has led the charge in assembling our LMA Midwest Member Survey, which will be released very soon. Keep an eye out for this short survey. Your responses will help inform programming, networking, and other membership benefits in 2020.
LMA Midwest Technology Conference
Rich Marsolais and Nathan Jenks lead our 2020 LMA Midwest Technology Conference Committee, and LMA Midwest Director, Nancy Myrland, serves as board liaison. LMA Midwest Tech is shaping up to be a fantastic conference – check out their site and register by April 1 to receive the Early Bird Discount.
LMA Midwest on Social Media
Our Communications Committee, led by LMA Midwest President-Elect Laura Toledo and spearheaded locally by Local Steering Committee (LSC) Communications Chairs and Leads, has taken social media by storm, posting dozens of updates since the first of the year. Make sure you follow LMA Midwest on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, and LMA Midwest at Chicago on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing!
We have so many other terrific initiatives currently underway (or kicking off soon)! Check out the next President’s Message for even more LMA Midwest activities.
As always, please feel free to contact me, or any member of our LMA Midwest Board, if you’d like to talk about your member benefits, explore LMA Midwest volunteer opportunities, or just catch up on the latest news in our region.
2020 LMA Midwest President
