LMA Southwest Region Seeks Dynamic Workshop Leaders for the 2018 LMA Southwest Regional Conference

POWER OF THE PAST, FORCE OF THE FUTURE
This two-day conference is powered by workshops lead by multi-generational teams, such as one would see in a law firm or corporate environment. The purpose of the conference is to provide immediately-effective management and leadership tools to attendees, bringing them new ways to approach the management of highly-functioning teams and business development, marketing, and client relations functions. Workshops will cover an array of skills needed to foster collaboration, think and act strategically, and drive overall business objectives.
TWO-HOUR WORKSHOPS LED BY MULTIGENERATIONAL FACILITATORS
This highly-interactive, deep-dive conference will be exclusively comprised of two-hour workshop sessions focused on hands-on learning and real-world application. The scope of each workshop should be narrowly-focused to allow for in-depth exploration of the topic. Topics may cover any of the six pillars of the LMA body of knowledge – business development, the business of law, client services, communications, marketing management and leadership, and technology management – as well as strategic planning and skills-oriented boot camps.
Workshops will be led by at least two experienced facilitators, each a member of a different generation (Boomer, X, Millennial). Effective facilitators will recognize and take advantage of the combined wisdom and experience of their co-facilitator, as well as participants. Facilitators are encouraged to engage the audience by using process-oriented tools and techniques including worksheets, case studies, role-play, group discussion, active problem-solving, and real-time production of work-product. Participants should leave with practical skills, strategies, and materials that can be immediately used at their firm.

The 2nd Annual LMA Southwest Regional Conference is dedicated to helping law firm professionals advance their careers by providing a premier forum to learn from and network with thought leaders and colleagues. This will be the largest annual gathering of legal marketers in the Southwest, bringing together members from Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah, as well as other parts of the United States.

If your presentation is selected, you will be notified on June 1, 2018. If selected as a speaker, LMASW will offer you complimentary registration to the conference as well as a $300 travel stipend in appreciation for your contribution to the success of this conference.
