LMA-LA Mentorship Partnership!

The chapter is excited to share its new mentorship program, "Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders."  By becoming a mentor, you will have the opportunity to give back and share your knowledge with someone growing in the field.  As a mentee, you will have access to someone who will make an investment in helping you develop your skillset and your career.

Objectives

To offer a mentoring program to the LMA – Los Angeles Chapter membership that will match experienced marketing professionals with less experienced marketing professionals to encourage professional growth, the sharing of knowledge, new relationships and develop leaders within the organization. The program is designed to provide a forum for mentees to expand their skills, better understand the legal market, have access to seasoned marketing professionals, advance career goals and raise the level of professionalism in the industry.

Benefits

  • Help build relationships between a diverse group of members
  • Increase the knowledge of our members by providing access to well-respected, experienced marketing professionals to help establish and achieve career goals
  • Create an opportunity to re-engage high-level marketing professionals
  • Provide an educational forum for members

Commitment

The mentoring program is designed to take advantage of currently scheduled LMA programs, as well as additional meetings that are scheduled at the convenience of the mentor and the mentee. The Mentoring Committee will help facilitate the program by matching the mentors with the mentees, conducting mentor training and providing frequent evaluation of the program. The 12-month program is entirely voluntary.
