LMA’s Advocacy Initiative has been working with the Future of Lawyering Committee of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL) to evaluate additional Rules of Professional Conduct that may need to be updated or changed.
LMA members are being asked to respond to the following survey questions in order to help APRL assess how the Rules of Professional Conduct may or may not need to be updated to reflect the changing nature of legal practice.
The survey takes between five to ten minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept confidential. We will only disseminate aggregate survey data, without attribution to any particular law firm. Additionally, we will share a preview summary of the results with those who participate in the survey.
Please respond to the survey no later than August 30, 2019, at noon CT.
APRL is a national organization of lawyers and law professors with expertise in the field of legal ethics and professional responsibility. APRL's committee is currently studying the ABA’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct that regulate the sharing of legal fees with other professionals in the context of referral services.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Chip Potter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
