As Celebrate Diversity Month comes to an end, we’re highlighting some LMA resources and key industry initiatives to help you drive diversity and inclusion at your firms:
- LMA members are invited to join the Diversity & Inclusion Shared Interest Group, a forum for those interested in building diverse and inclusive marketing and business development teams and empowering and equipping other LMA members to do so.
- The LMA Diversity & Inclusion Committee is charged with making recommendations to the LMA Board of Directors, Regional Governing Boards, staff and other LMA leadership bodies about actions that will improve diversity and inclusion of the LMA membership and its programs and services, and is hard at work on its 2019 goals.
- The Diversity Lab recently announced it's expanded its Mansfield Rule to "require participating in-house legal teams to consider at least 50 percent women, minority lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities as applicants for key leadership roles," as reported by Corporate Counsel.
