We can all agree this year was different than any other year in our collective history. In March, we were asked to turn our firms and all related activities virtual overnight. Then we asked our volunteers to throw out their 2020 plans to create a fully virtual experience for our 450-person region for an indefinite period of time – and they did, brilliantly. They delivered countless articles, newsletters, webinars, social events, and operational activities. They often did this work for our region at night, on the weekend, and without recognition because things were canceled or rescheduled.
This year would not have been possible without this core group of leaders who stepped up and contributed to a banner year for our region. In a year where we have learned we are stronger collectively than as an individuals, we are thrilled to name all of our Volunteer Leaders as “2020 Member of the Year.” They have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the growth and success of our region.
