May I Have the Envelope Please

Imagine winning an Oscar, the Heisman, a Golden Globe or the Capital Chapter Your Honor Awards.

Over the years, members of the Capital Chapter have demonstrated their talent through innovation, creativity, and hard work.  For this reason, the Capital Chapter is accepting nominations for our first ever Your Honor Awards, which will be presented to the winners at our annual Holiday Social in December.

The Capital Chapter is accepting nominations from members in the following categories from now until October 29, 2010 at 5:30 PM:

  • Big Idea - How has your PR, advertising, technology or business development campaign raised the bar and what can the Capital Chapter LMA members learn from your success? What is a marketing or business development strategy or initiative your firm has put into action that has produced measurable results? The "Big Idea" winner is presented to the chapter member(s) who have brought their marketing efforts to the next level and whose actions can provide solutions that will help motivate colleagues facing similar challenges.
  • Member of the Year - The "Member of the Year" award recognizes the contributions of a chapter member who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the growth and success of our chapter by furthering the goals of LMA.
  • Hall of Fame- The Hall of Fame Award will be given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the legal marketing industry, the Capital Chapter and its members, and has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of experience and leadership. Capital Chapter members in good standing who have been actively involved in the legal marketing profession for a minimum of 10 years are eligible for consideration.

For the Big Idea Award, we encourage you to use this as a chance to share your professional success with us.  Both the Member of the Year and our Hall of Fame Awards will provide you the opportunity to applaud the contributions of your peers and mentors in the profession.

All entries must have been produced for use by a Capital Chapter law firm or professional service firm between October 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010. To download the submission guidelines, entry criteria and rules, please click here.
