What is fun fact that few people know about you?

Back in the day when I lived in Miami, I was a "disco queen" and even had a partner that I regularly danced with. Also, I love cartoons and Japanese anime and go to various ComicCon and anime conventions.  I basically lurk and take pictures. Unfortunately, I do not have the courage to dress up as a character...yet.  If I did, I can see myself as Xena, Princess Warrior, or Major Kusanagi, a kick-ass cyborg from Ghost in the Shell (for all you geeks out there!)

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I was told by my pediatrician that I would either be a spy, or an FBI agent or a model. I believed that for a while. Go figure? I think that I was tall and thin when I was young...What happened to that??!!

Apart from legal marketing prowess, what other skills or hobbies do you have?

I started out as a design student and for many years, was extremely artistic and creative (and what happened to that?)  I used to sew elaborate costumes for my nieces, create intricate throw pillows and quilts and upholster furniture. Also, I collect stuff -- from kites, to all kinds of goofy toys, Halloween and other holiday decorations, shoes, unusual hats, pop-up books and more... You can imagine what my apartment looks like!

Lisa Sesti - Member at Large - Communications

I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I just knew that I liked solving problems and the creative process, so it’s not unnatural that I gravitated towards a career in marketing and advertising. Now with 20-plus years of a progressive career in marketing, advertising and business development, I am still impassioned by being part of the creative solution process in an industry that is a constantly evolving. Outside of work, my passion is mission service and helping with youth character development. I am active in related volunteer ministries through my church and, in early January, again had the opportunity to serve with a medical mission team in Honduras. I am married to my husband Sam, of  28 years, we have two bright and beautiful daughters and, as of last spring, an outstanding new son-in-law.

Cere Woods - Treasurer-Elect
