Chief Business Development Officer, Nossaman

Chris Flaherty leads the firm’s Business Development Department which is responsible for client expansion, new business pursuits, competitive intelligence, client satisfaction initiatives, media relations as well as traditional and online visibility.  He works closely with Firm management, Practice Group and Client Team Leaders, attorneys, and public policy advisors on strategic planning, business development, and marketing initiatives.  Mr. Flaherty also manages aspects of the firm’s practice operations function related to client profitability, matter pricing, and practice economics. Prior to joining Nossaman, Mr. Flaherty served as Director of Business Development at an international law firm.

Chief Marketing Officer, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth

Robin is responsible for the creation and execution of the strategic business development and marketing initiatives for Stradling. This includes the implementation of practice group, regional, industry, and client level business plans, the development and implementation of cross-selling initiatives, client feedback, and client teams. Prior to joining Stradling, Robin was the Business Development Director for the litigation department at Manatt Phelps & Phillips, a 450-lawyer AmLaw 200 firm. Before Manatt, Robin spent seven years at O'Melveny & Myers in a variety of different roles, including Global Communications Manager where she was responsible for the development of the firm’s new website.

Chief Business Development Officer, Allen Matkins

Ramona Whitley is the Chief Business Development Officer at Allen Matkins, where she leads key business development and client relationship initiatives. She oversees the firm-wide client feedback program, client review and growth program and competitive intelligence. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Ramona was Director of Marketing and Business Development at McKenna Long & Aldridge and Luce Forward. Her marketing experience includes business development, sales training, marketing research, strategic planning, product development, events, sponsorships and public relations. Before working in the legal industry, Ramona spent 17 years in media, most recently at The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Kip Guthrie
Chief Marketing Officer, Perkins Coie LLP
Kip Guthrie is the Chief Marketing Officer at Perkins Coie. Kip is responsible for national and international marketing and business development programs for the firm’s practices, regions and industry groups. He is known for developing and leading proactive and performance-driven marketing teams that build new and existing client engagements, contribute profitable revenue, build national name recognition, and leverage tools and processes to increase efficiency. He joined Perkins Coie from DLA Piper where he spent nearly 10 years as Director of Marketing (Americas).

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Any cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event will be fully refunded. All cancellations made after that date will be billed in full. Registrations may be transferred, however price differences between member and non-members will be billed accordingly.
