Careful management of legal matters is becoming more and more important in the legal industry. As a newer marketer, it's important to understand how this up and coming area affects you and your firm.
Our March brownbag will focus on legal project management and how you can contribute to your firm's LPM efforts. We'll address topics including:
- The intersection of strategic pricing and legal project management
- The rise of project management within the legal industry
- Industry best practices and leading innovators
- The primary components of LPM: project, process, and financial management
- How to market your LPM capabilities to differentiate your firm from the competition
Our speaker, Nick Zinn, is a Strategic Pricing Manager at Covington & Burling. Nick is a recovering attorney who now uses his knowledge and experience on the marketing side. After working several years as an attorney in the Midwest, Nick earned his MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and headed east. He understands the importance of project management, financing, and accounting in any business. Combined with his lawyer background, Nick brings a complete perspective to the brownbag.
