Capital Future Leaders | Setting You Up for SEO Success at Your Law Firm

madarang.jpgDigital marketing is becoming increasingly important in our ever more internet-connected world. Having a website is not enough – it’s also important to make sure your firm’s website and content are helping drive business to your attorneys by showing up in search.

Our December brownbag will focus on search engine optimization (SEO) and how you as a newer legal marketer can contribute to your firm’s digital marketing efforts. This program will be a roundtable discussion and we’ll cover topics such as:

  • SEO: what is it and why it’s important
  • How a law firm site can utilize SEO
  • Basics of using Google Adwords
  • Which KPIs are important and how to best present the data
  • Real-world examples of what coordinators can do to help website analytics drive business development

Our speakers are Jacqueline Madarang and Jacob Berschauer. Jacqueline is senior marketing technology manager at Bradley, an Am Law 200 law firm with over 550 attorneys in nine offices. She oversees and manages the firm’s marketing technology stack, including the implementation of new tools firm wide to assist in marketing and business development. She leads the firm’s marketing technology team, its efforts in business development technology, marketing technology and digital marketing. She helps attorneys understand technology, social media and content marketing, and how they can apply these to business development and get results.

Jacob Berschauer is the marketing technology manager at Venable, an Am Law 100 firm with 675 attorneys in nine offices across the country. With more than 10 years of marketing experience, he manages the firm’s marketing technology team. Under his leadership, they work to modernize the firm’s digital environment, which gives attorneys the tools needed to work smarter while producing positive results.
