LMA Bay Area Virtual Community Meet-Up Series
#6: Virtual Conference Value — Coaching Our Attorneys to Leverage Online Events
As we all get more comfortable with being uncomfortable in virtual networking spaces, it’s time to gear up for Fall Conference Season. If not canceled altogether, most legal, industry, and association conferences have switched to remote-friendly formats. Legal marketers can coach their lawyers to make the most of virtual conferences for relationship- and profile-building value. By learning how and when to leverage key moments before, during and after the online event, our attorneys can thrive in speaker or attendee-only roles, perhaps with less investment than in real-life equivalents.
Our LMA colleagues from Sacramento will facilitate this interactive discussion to include two breakout best-practices sessions, one tailored for coaching attorneys as panelists/speakers and the other for attendee-only virtual conference-goers. Join Jen Forester (BD Coach with C-Suite Solutions and GrowthPlay), Stephanie Hill (Marketing Manager at Meyers Nave and Sacramento Chair, LMA Bay Area Local Steering Committee) and Heather Ward (BD Director at Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard) to hear their summertime stories and tested tactics for conferencing like a digital champ.
Please join us on August 20th at 4:30 PM PST to learn more.
From the Speakers: We look forward to moderating a dynamic discussion with our LMA colleagues. In keeping with the spirit of the Virtual Meet-Up Series, this program is designed as an interactive workshop with Zoom breakout rooms and facilitated crowdsourcing. As we aim to align the content and prompts to the exact needs of our community, please don’t hesitate to share your virtual conference questions and concerns in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Please enable your camera for participation.
About the LMA Bay Area Virtual Community Meet-Up Series
In these uncertain and challenging times, it’s important to balance the reality of our circumstances, while also working to find positives even in the worst of times. It is our character, commitment to our greater community, our spirit and our relationships that foster our ability to get through a crisis.
As such, our Bay Area LMA community matters more than ever and we want to offer you the support and resources you need to navigate these difficult times. We are hosting a series of “LMA Community Happy Hour Meet-ups” via Zoom, that offer both recommendations and resources to support you professionally, while giving members a chance to connect and support one another.
Each “meet-up” will feature a timely and relevant topic led by a facilitator, and then open the discussion up to the group to share best practices, insights and experiences while enjoying some social time and fun online.
Reaffirm your approach, learn new strategies and enjoy Happy Hour with colleagues!
Our sense of shared purpose and positive energy will go a long way to support one another!
Feel free to sign up for any and all virtual meet-ups, noting that we are limiting participation in each “Meet-Up” to 20 members in order to facilitate a better Zoom experience and not overload the discussion.
