The State of the Business of Law: what is driving current success, where firms are investing, and predictions for the future

December 18, 2019 | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Presented By
Jordan Schuetzle | Director of Proposition Strategy and Market Development, Thomson Reuters

Thomson Reuters, the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and the Center on Ethics and the Legal Profession at the Georgetown University recently surveyed 125 Midsize law firm CFO’s and COO’s in midsize law firms on the topics of growth, profitability, and risk. The survey reveals insights into those leaders’ expected risks to profitability, changes in financial performance indicators, expected areas of growth and plans for expansion, and plans for outsourcing and investment in software and other technologies. Researcher and legal strategist Jordan Schuetzle will share the results and lead us in a discussion of how it might impact legal marketing.
