Although the temperatures aren’t yet reflecting it, summer is winding to a close. And we, as marketers–ever forward-looking beings–are beginning to think about next year. 2017 survey deadlines are approaching. Business plans and budgets are due. And I suspect some of you are already in the throes of selecting your firm’s holiday greeting cards. For the most part, this is late-Summer and early-Fall, business as usual.
But in LMA, we are on the precipice of change! You’ve just confirmed your 2017 Mid-Atlantic slate and we are well into the development of our Local Steering Committees for the coming year. As we approach the winter months, your Capital Chapter and Virginias Chapter leaders will be coming together to prepare for the official launch of our Mid-Atlantic region and the dissolution of our local chapters. Ultimately, this means increased and easier access to resources, ideas and other members of the LMA community.
In this month’s newsletter, we are channeling our excitement for this expansion by focusing on reaching broader audiences, utilizing more interactive platforms (i.e. - apps, social media and video), and getting to know our neighbors (hello, Virginia!). I hope you can share in my enthusiasm for what’s to come and if in the meantime, I can help to answer any questions you have about what to expect for 2017, that you’ll reach out.
