On March 14 the CMO SIG brought together a terrific panel of veteran PR talent and management experience to help us understand the fundamentals of crisis management, and how to effectively work with firm leadership to mitigate problems.
Recent cyber security case studies served as the catalyst for the discussion led by Jamie Diaferia and Zach Olsen (of Infinite Global), and Deborah Farone (of Farone Advisors) who walked CMO attendees through not only why it is important to have a process in place, but to identify the internal resource best suited to help your crisis response be most effective. Taking the temperature of what firms have in place, the well-received presentation engendered a robust Q&A at the end.
