Practice Development Coordinator – Emerging Companies
Latham & Watkins
How did you get into Legal Marketing?
I was introduced to Latham by somebody from my very first job. I’d caddied at a country club for 8 years and a partner at the firm who I’d gotten to know very well thought I should give interning a shot.
What aspect of the fellowship program are you most excited about?
I’m excited about the opportunity to get involved right from the start. I think the programming itself will be interesting, and I look forward to being able to contribute to organizing it.
What’s the greatest bit of advice a parent or mentor has given you?
Cutting corners never pays off.
If you weren’t in Legal Marketing, what would you be doing instead?
I had three internships in Finance, that would probably be an appropriate alternative.
What are three words others would use to describe you?
Outgoing, mature, dedicated.
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
Weather in the 80s, no clouds in the sky, morning golf, all afternoon on the beach with friends.
Pick something out of your pocket/purse and explain why it's important to you.
My watch was a graduation gift from my older brother, who is by far the best friend I’ll ever have in this world. He gave it to me and said he was extremely proud of me.
If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would it be?
Enjoy the highs, contain the lows.
