Law firms are focusing more than ever on improving client service and obtaining valuable feedback to guide their client development strategies, but how do you act on feedback in a way that makes a difference? James Stapleton, Blank Rome’s Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer, will be sharing his perspectives on the question as part of "Building Your Legal Brand Using Outside Client Feedback" at LMANE19. Here he explains why he’s excited about his panel and looking forward to the conference.
Why did you choose to speak at the LMANE19 conference?
Two reasons: First, I am passionate about client feedback in every sense, from casual feedback, to formal independent reviews, to client teams, to post mortems. I’d like to share some of my experiences from my thirty years working with international accounting, consulting and law firms. Second, I believe fully in ongoing learning, and I am very excited to see other presenters at this conference!
What are you hoping attendees take away from your presentation?
I’d like the attendees to understand some of the subtleties of generating client feedback, why candor is critical and how lawyer personalities can work against generating candor
What are you personally expecting to get out of this year's conference?
New friends and new knowledge.
