Why did you submit to present at the 2020 LMA Annual Conference?
Prior to joining Crowell & Moring LLP in 2018, I spent several years working outside of Legal with other professional services industries. The experience gave me a new perspective on many projects we undertook in the legal industry, including directory submissions. I wanted to present at the 2020 LMA Annual Conference and share this fresh perspective with attendees.
What are you hoping attendees will learn from your presentation?
I hope that the attendees gain confidence in managing directory submissions, armed with insights and tools they can use to effectively “own” the process.
What do you think is the key to success as a legal marketer today?
I think the key to success is to consistently see the forest through the trees and always keep your eye on how small tasks and projects contribute to the firm’s larger goals, as well as your own.
One of our themes for #LMA20 is ‘Elevated content’. What’s new and exciting about your presentation?
I’ll combine my 15 years of directories submission experience with impactful strategies and approaches that I’ve begun implementing in the past two years. Attendees will benefit from my experiences – both old and new – as they learn how to elevate their submission process as well as their own value within their firms.
What are you most looking forward to about the 2020 LMA Annual Conference?
I look forward to re-connecting with legal marketers whom I haven’t seen for several years and making new connections.
