2020 has certainly been a year that no one could envision. At LMA New York, we have had to adjust our sights dramatically to attempt to serve you and your colleagues.
Being relevant to our membership has never been as important as during these unprecedented times. We aim to provide you with programs and services that will meet your evolving needs.
To help ensure that we do so, we have created a brief survey to find out what you would like LMA New York to offer, especially concerning our programs, which have long been the focal point of bringing everyone together. I strongly encourage you to take literally a minute or two to fill it out by Thursday, August 6 and let us know how we can best serve you. Your feedback is invaluable.
We know that the legal marketing profession, while insular at times, is still part of our overall society. We are creating programs that will look at these national, if not global, issues within the realm of the legal marketing industry.
Our next program on July 30 will address how the pandemic has forced us to change our strategies and approaches for generating revenue. Please join us as Dr. Heidi Gardner of Harvard Law School’s Center on the Legal Profession uncovers ways you can help your firm adapt to these tough times.
Our recent CMO Forum provided an enlightening overview of what we can expect for legal marketing in the COVID-19 era. We are planning several other programs to help us adjust to a much different landscape for everyone connected to the legal industry.
The changed landscape means we will have to rely on online technologies until it is truly safe to be together in one place. While we cannot host our annual Summer Soiree, which would have been next week, I do want to celebrate all of our New York area members, who have supported us in so many different ways and whom we look forward to seeing in person again soon.
Thank you all for your commitment and support. As always, feel free to reach out to me directly if you have ideas, or if I can be of any assistance!
