On February 16th, the Metro Philadelphia Chapter met for an interactive workshop. Speakers Josh Rosenzweig, Founder and CEO of Wibni Labs, and Michael Barrett, Chief Information Officer of Dechert LLP, presented “Innovation Slam Workshop: How Can New Advances in Technology Assist Legal Marketers in Automating Manual Processes?”
With the increasing presence and changes within legal technology, legal marketers are always thinking about ways to automate manual marketing processes, generate additional revenue or enhance service delivered to clients. Because there are still a number of challenges that legal marketers face within their law firms, this presentation helped identify how to more effectively move their innovative ideas and technology processes forward. Legal marketers are faced with selling their attorneys; therefore, being able to identify how developing services and experiences that clients need will drive business value and improve internal communication and collaboration. Attendees were directed to form teams and brainstorm how to use design thinking methods to formulate great ideas and make real, tangible breakthroughs to cultivate solutions to marketing problems.
