Editor's Note: Call for Perspectives

To our LMA Mid-Atlantic community

After we had committed to covering the impact of the worst pandemic in a century on our industry, communities across the United States (and the world) came together to protest racial injustice following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

For this edition of the LMA Mid-Atlantic Region Newsletter, we have compiled a series of articles dedicated to sharing important lessons learned during the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as best practices for adapting and thriving amid times of crisis.

These are still important lessons and insights and we’re glad to be publishing them. However, we deeply value and actively support engagement in our country's movement for racial equality and justice.

We are committed to sharing in our third quarter newsletter more perspectives on how law firms and legal marketers are or can influence change surrounding racial disparities, provide support and resources, and champion diversity and inclusion across communities and within the legal profession.

To contribute an article focusing on these issues, please contact me at leslievalenza@gmail.com
