She shares from her own experience as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Bass, Berry & Sims on engaging meaningfully with firm leadership, providing strategic counsel on delicate topics, and staying true to firm values.

Lee Ashby Rogers (Watts) is the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at Bass, Berry & Sims, where she leads efforts to advance DEI across the firm and support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of underrepresented lawyers and professionals. With over 20 years of experience in the legal industry, Lee has a proven track record of helping law firms and legal professionals develop and implement impactful strategies that drive meaningful change. Lee brings a deep understanding of communications and client service, honed through her extensive career in legal marketing and business development. Before joining Bass, Berry & Sims, she founded and led a consulting firm, coaching and training hundreds of leaders. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at an Amlaw firm where she provided strategic leadership for nearly a decade. Her professional affiliations reflect her commitment to leadership and community service. Currently, Lee is a member of The Table, a Nashville-based organization dedicated to promoting equity and inclusiveness. She is also a member of ALFDP (Association of Law Firm Diverse Professionals).
