Greg leads the marketing team for the Colorado offices of BKD. He has more than 13 years of sales and marketing experience, including four years in professional services and seven years in professional sports.
His responsibilities include the design and implementation of the practice unit marketing and media relations plan, serving as a sales coach for approximately 40 Account Managers, developing marketing collateral and initiatives, and overseeing company special events.
Among the industry niche teams Greg assists on a day-to-day basis are construction and real estate, financial services, health care, manufacturing and distribution and not-for-profit and governmental.
Greg was selected as a participant in the 2008 Downtown Denver Leadership Program. He is the chair for the eXecs organization of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry and a co-chair for the National Jewish Medical and Research Center fundraiser event “Hoops & Hoopla.” He serves on the membership services committee of the Downtown Denver Partnership, and is involved with fundraising committees for the Denver Zoo and Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the Association of Accounting Marketers and the Legal Marketing Association.
Greg is a 1993 graduate of Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Secondary Education endorsement.
Away from the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife Kirsta, cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, hiking, reading, running, snowshoeing, traveling and writing.
