Connie Proulx is Director of Marketing for Wheeler Trigg Kennedy LLP, a Denver-based law firm that handles trials, appeals, arbitrations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolutions of complex litigation, including class actions and multidistrict litigation, on a local, regional, and national scale. The firm’s clients include many of the nation’s best-known companies – including many of the Fortune 500 – often as national or regional trial counsel. WTK also represents lawyers, doctors, and other professionals in the defense of professional liability claims.
On the Denver legal scene for over 30 years, Connie has divided her career equally among legal marketing, legal administration, and law librarianship and information management. Prior to joining Wheeler Trigg Kennedy in 2003, Connie was the Director of Human Resources at Davis Graham & Stubbs. She also spent 19 years at Holland & Hart where she held various positions, including Assistant Director of Administration, Law Librarian and Records Manager, and Director of Marketing.
In her marketing role, Connie has helped two firms win LMA Your Honor Awards, one for its community service program and one for a media relations campaign. She also helped Wheeler Trigg Kennedy become the first and only law firm in the country to have three lawyers together on the top 10 list of any state’s Super Lawyers® list. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Legal Marketing Association Rocky Mountain Chapter for the past four years and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Mile High Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. She is the current Executive Director of the Wheeler Trigg Kennedy Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization, and is a founding member of the Internet Safety Foundation.
Connie earned a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in management and marketing from the University of Colorado at Denver. She also holds a Master’s in Librarianship and Information Management from the University of Denver, which she completed while working at the University of Denver College of Law.
In her spare time, Connie enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, hiking, skiing, and otherwise enjoying Colorado’s outdoors. She lives in Lafayette, Colorado with her husband Mike and their two teen-aged daughters, Natalie and Elaine.
