The Legal Sales and Service Organization (LSSO) provides resources as well as educational conferences and workshops to further develop the skills of legal sales and service professionals. Faculty include highly respected professionals and academics in: sales, service and total quality and process management. LSSO membership is for professionals who recognize that business and client development skills must be cultivated to successfully sell legal services and retain clients. The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973 by small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities for the architectural, engineering and construction firms that they served. Today, the association has a membership of more than 5,600 marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States, Europe and Canada.
