The Six Keys to Great Presentations
July 17, 2008
How to Grab, Keep and Move Any Audience: The Six Keys to Great Presentations
As a marketer you know all too well the challenges of engaging internal and external audiences and motivating them to act. Whether you’re giving the presentation yourself or coaching attorneys in your firm, this dynamic program demystifies the process of crafting and delivering great presentations by showing you six powerful keys to getting people’s attention and influencing them. These insights are based on the time-tested wisdom of the Greek philosophers along with the latest psychological research. From PowerPoint “secrets” to laser-sharp messaging, this session will have you persuading others like never before.
About the Speaker:
Steve Hughes is the President of Hit Your Stride, LLC, a communications consultancy that specializes in helping clients create and deliver world-class presentations. His seminars have been featured on National Public Radio and he is the creator of "National Be Kind To Lawyers Day" (observed annually on the 2nd Tuesday in April). His client roster features Fortune 500 companies, Am Law 100 firms and numerous associations including NALP and the American Marketing Association. Prior to speaking full time, Steve was a managing partner at a 50-person advertising agency, a computer salesman and a high school history teacher. He holds a BA in French Literature from the University of Kansas and an MBA in Marketing from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University where he was awarded the prestigious Olin Cup.
