This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Carolina’s largest and most respected law firms as Communications Manager. Working under the leadership of a tenured Director of Marketing & Business Development, the Communications Manager will be part of a growing and sophisticated marketing and business development team

Key Responsibilities

Plan, produce and manage implementation of select Firm and practice group marketing programs.

Advise attorneys, plan and coordinate the business development activities of select client service improvement teams, including ongoing research and analysis, account planning, competitive intelligence, pitches and proposals, events.

Evaluate and supervise outside consultants, agencies and vendors.

Develop select RFP responses and manage the related proposal process and success tracking.

Provide support and direction on various projects to other marketing managers, Contact management DB specialist, graphic artist, administrators and interns.

Manage marketing and communications support of firm affairs, such as pro bono programs, recruiting, and community support.

Produce and attend various client, firm and community and local association event for purposes of raising the visibility of the Firm and specific practice groups.

Assist in planning and managing the budget and operations of the firm’s public relations function, and internal and client communications activities

Other duties as assigned.

 

Specific requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in journalism or communications
  • at least six years of related experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
