Sr. Marketing Segment Manager – Newly created strategic role to define new channels, opportunities, etc to grow the existing business. Would prefer someone that has worked with on-line products before (obviously legal online publishing would most preferable).
This position is responsible for managing all the strategic marketing functions for Loislaw, both industry and product. This includes understanding of the industry landscape both direct and indirect and translating that knowledge into useable materials including pricing, sales tools, etc. Pending the strength and prior background of the chosen individual the Marketing Analyst role will report to them.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Responsible for gathering and disseminating all areas of customer insight and research as it relates to the entire organization
o Responsible for gathering and disseminating industry research, both legal and online publishing
o Responsible for providing insight to product and marketing in areas such as usability, site design
o Responsible for market and segmentation analysis that will lead to the profitable and customer satisfying offers, channels and support
o Responsible for defining, reporting and enhancing key customer touch points as they relate to customer retention
o Responsible for maintaining the competitive Library
o Manage pricing analysis and the development of the price book. Manage the sales promotions in conjunction with sales.
o Working with sales responsible for the portfolio as it relates to the go to market strategies for our product offerings
o Responsible for developing case studies, testimonials, white papers, educational materials that help reps and customers to understand Loislaw’s value proposition and sales attributes.
o Analyze user generated content and customer loyalty activities.

- • Minimum 7 – 10 years experience in marketing role with an online legal or B2B online publisher.
