The goal of the Marketing Manager position is to support local business leaders and coordinate with fellow marketing colleagues in developing and delivering effective marketing and sales plans and tactics for key offices in the US western region of a global professional services firm.

In this position, you will be a member of the West region marketing team, focusing on delivering a national marketing program within the local markets and managing and measuring the effectiveness of tactics on a local basis. Successful candidates must possess strong business acumen, strong experience with core marketing tactics, excellent project management, communication and team skills. Offices include Dallas, Houston and Denver.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

·  Collaborate with business leaders to develop and manage sales and marketing campaigns, events and training

·  Deepen our relationships with existing key clients/accounts by identifying potential gaps in service offerings and recommending plans to integrate new services for those clients

·  Conduct competitor or client research as needed to support sales activity and use client databases to help local leadership evaluate market potential and service mix

·  Support  local media plans, including interfacing with the local press, assessing sponsorship opportunities and identifying speaking engagements for senior consultants

·  Drive the account planning process through the use of market knowledge, research, and database management

·  Oversee production of local collateral or other materials and monitor compliance with firm-wide brand, editorial and graphic standards

·  Design and execute strategies to ensure effective follow-up with clients after campaigns or events, and monitor client satisfaction

·  Champion and administer all sales and marketing information systems

Specific requirements

  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 3-7 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in professional services and/or human resources environment
  • Strategic and tactical marketing experience, including marketing planning execution and project management
  • Experience in writing and editing business development materials as well as creating and working with spreadsheets, graphs and database management
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them properly under time constraints
  • Availability and willingness to work outside normal business hours
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Travel limited to approximately 20%
  • College degree required and degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business Administration preferred
