This presentation will provide guidance and best practices promoted within the CI community.

About our speaker
Shannon Sankstone is the Marketing Research Analyst at Quarles & Brady in Chicago. She is responsible for the firm's competitive intelligence and business development research function, which is integrated into the Knowledge Management, Marketing and Finance departments at the firm. Shannon has experience in gathering both primary and secondary research, including focus groups and surveys, and capitalizing on that intelligence for business development purposes. She has published in Strategies and is a Contributing Editor for the ALM's Marketing the Law Firm, as well as the author of the column "Law Firm Intelligence." An active member of the Legal Marketing Association, she was a member of the Research Committee and surveyed the LMA membership on its education preferences. Previously, she was a part of the key client program at Baker & McKenzie. A life-long Chicagoan, Shannon received her BA from the University of Illinois, enjoys SCUBA diving in Lake Michigan, speaks Japanese and travels internationally whenever her schedule permits.
