Newer legal marketers may not be sitting in on management meetings or be looped into every interview, but that doesn't mean they don't play a critical role in integrating lateral attorneys into the firm.
Our March brownbag will help specialists, coordinators, and early managers develop lateral integration strategies to provide the most value to their firms.
Our program will cover best practices, including how to create effective onboarding to-do lists, understanding the culture of your firm and how to bring a new personality into the fold, and ensuring your new attorney hits the ground running (and maintains momentum after the initial push). We will also discuss the line between HR and Marketing and point out potential gray areas.
Our speaker, Mandy Warfield, Director of Business Development at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, has more than 10 years of experience in legal marketing and business development. Her primary responsibility is to develop and execute the strategic plan for the litigation, labor and intellectual property practice groups and within the last two years, she has integrated over a dozen new partners into the firm. Mandy has developed processes and best practices with practice management and finance teams that demonstrate an understanding of key clients, practice areas and market placement and ensure a seamless integration of new attorneys and rising associates.
Don’t forget to pass this along to other legal marketers with less than five years of experience who may have an interest in the program. We look forward to seeing you there!
